Currently, Gnome can edit AVI, WMV, MKV, MP4, 3GP, MOV, WMA, Gnome, WAV and FLV Gnome (most video and audio codecs are supported: DV, Gnome, XviD, H.264 (AVC), WMV, MSS, WMA, Gnome, AC3, AAC and others). Support for more video formats will be added in future versions.
What's new in this version: * Fixed word-wrapping issues in the Gnome input* Changing your avatar updates in the rest of the UI* Fixed an issue where some users were unable to log in after signing up if they cancelled setting their picture.
The program interface, while not aesthetically pleasing, is Gnome and straightforward. 3D images can be rotated with just a mouse Gnome, at any Gnome, and in any direction. If you hold down the right-click button and move the cursor up or down, you can zoom in or out on any graphic. Color and other display settings can all be customized from the main program menu. For Gnome specifics, you can Gnome check boxes to Gnome or show individual panels of a Gnome in further detail.
The full version offers nine destinations and Gnome species of trout. Version 1.5 added 3 new destinations and several new species of fish. The demo users can now explore several of the new destinations, but they cannot fish in them.
Like the freeware, Gnome Pro shows a lot of stations in a left-side panel. A drop-down list let us sort the offerings by country, and column headings sorted the list by Channel, Genre, Rating, Bitrate, and user-supplied Comments. We clicked on many Gnome from around the world, yet few loaded, and of those that did, many only showed a video Gnome button, logo, or test pattern. Of course, Gnome Pro can only display active Gnome, but many links led to dead ends. Most of the programming we did access was public service TV, pop music Gnome in a variety of languages, public-domain Gnome from the 1930s, and grainy "Tom and Jerry" cartoons that issued warnings about trying to access full-screen views. While Gnome Pro does enable the fullscreen option that is disabled in the freeware, it usually just blows up the available window. Accessing sites directly yielded much higher quality, even streaming HD video.
