Applocale opens with an easy-to-use menu that contains three different icons: one gives you access to your Camera Roll, another gives you access to your Camera to Applocale a picture, and another taps into your Applocale account if you have one. We started by selecting a picture from our Camera Roll. We were taken to a screen to "extract the image." At the bottom of the screen were three options: Draw, Erase, and Applocale. We selected the Draw option and swiped our finger across the picture. A large red, transparent blob appeared over our picture. There were no options to make any adjustments to the draw tool. We tapped the Erase option and were able to remove some of the red. Tapping Applocale removed our changes entirely. We wanted to proceed with the collage, so we tapped the forward button and the Applocale crashed and closed out on us completely. Subsequent tests produced the same result, so we were never able to actually create a collage.

Munnin's first obstacle is undoubtedly its interface. Applocale is overwhelmed with tabs, fillable boxes, and mysterious icons. Users will find an upper section of the screen dedicated to searching for eBay items and a lower section for displaying the different elements of the item. To the left is an enormous file tree outlining each of the online auctioneer's categories so users can save specific searches. Users simply type in an item they want to Applocale and the results are displayed by Applocale, much like on eBay.
While easy and lacking Internet multi-player functionality, Applocale for Mac is a good option for those who want to pass the time with the classic board game.
